August 10th, 2012 was the date to celebrate the official return of 2 Unlimited. The original members Ray Sijngaard and Anita Doth chose the Skanderborg Festival SMUKFEST as the world premiere to launch their first 2 Unlimited show!

 

This special moment should have taken place on 11th of July in Hyde Park London but was unfortunately cancelled due to safety issues and is was rescheduled to August 10th, 2012: Skanderborg, Denmark.

 

SMUKFEST has been held in the forests of Skanderborg since 1980 and is the biggest festival in Denmark with a capacity of 48.000 visitors. The headliners of 2012 were DAVID GUETTA, BRYAN ADAMS, BLUR, ICE CUBE, TOTO and 2 UNLIMITED!

 

The King & Queen of the 90's were very exited about this official moment that they have announced today live on Danish Radio P3. 2 Unlimited performed a stunning show feauturing their biggest hits like ‘Get Ready for This', ‘Twilight Zone', ‘Let The Beat Control Your Body', ‘Tribal Dance', ‘Real Things' and 'No Limit'.

 

2 Unlimited was a Dutch/Belgian eurodance group formed in 1991. The project was the brainchild of producers Jean-Paul DeCoster and Phil Wilde, and fronted by the Dutch duo rapper Ray Slijngaard and singer Anita Doth.

 

During five years of enormous worldwide popularity the act scored 16 chart hits, including "Get Ready for This", "Twilight Zone", "Tribal Dance" and their record breaking "No Limit". This #1 single topped the charts in over 40 countries. During their career, 2 Unlimited have sold more than 20.000.000 records worldwide.

 

On 11 April 2009, Slijngaard and Doth performed together for the first time in 13 years at the "I Love The 90s" concert in Hasselt, Belgium. In January 2010 they released a new single together called "In Da Name Of Love" under the name of Ray & Anita. It became a Top 5 hit in the Netherlands and was licensed to 34 countries!
